Cotman), University of California Irvine; 1994 - Specialty in Neurology (50/50 cum laude); 1999 - Ph.D in Neurobiology; 2002 - Specialty in Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry (70/70 cum laude) Scientific activity: Research in neuropharmacology and neurobiology, with expertise in the field of Alzheimer's disease. 2004 - present: Research Associate Member of the Institute of Biostructure and Bioimagines/Institute of Crystallography, National Council of Research, Italy.
