ANALISI FARMACEUTICA E NUTRACEUTICO-ALIMENTARE 2 A - L

Academic Year 2023/2024 - Teacher: Angelo SPADARO

Expected Learning Outcomes

Knowledge and understanding. The student must acquire theoretical and practical preparation for the identification of organic compounds of pharmaceutical interest as outlined in the monographs of official pharmacopoeias. This involves employing instrumental analytical techniques and chemical assays in solutions in pharmaceutical forms and complex biological matrices. The student should also gain the theoretical basis in the main analytical techniques for the analysis of nutraceuticals and foods in complex matrices.

Application of knowledge and understanding. The student should be able to use the acquired knowledge to develop and validate protocols for the analysis of drugs, nutraceuticals, and foods.

Autonomy of judgment. The student should be capable of interpreting experimental results related to the analysis of active principles present in complex matrices.

Communication skills. Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to articulate what they have learned using appropriate terminology for a scientifically accurate presentation concerning analytical techniques and the analysis of compounds of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food interest.

Learning ability. The student should have developed theoretical and practical skills to update and expand their knowledge, enabling them to address new analytical challenges.

Required Prerequisites
